Organized by the Quantum Computing & Communication Observatory of Politecnico di Milano, the Quantum Applications Summit marks the Observatory’s first public event entirely dedicated to exploring real-world quantum use cases that will shape the next decade.

This summit is designed to bridge the gap between groundbreaking pilot projects and the complex realities of large-scale industrial deployment. Italian and international business speakers will share their companies’ use cases, investigating how quantum computing could offer solutions to complex problems across finance, energy, pharmaceuticals, and beyond. Each presentation will highlight the project’s objectives, key challenges, and future development paths, with a special focus on the quantum algorithms driving these innovations. The summit will also feature discussions on quantum communication use cases, examining their potential to reshape the future of cryptographic security.

By bringing together industry leaders and experts, the Quantum Applications Summit aims to accelerate the transition from pilot projects to industry-scale solutions, fostering a deeper understanding of quantum technology’s potential to transform various sectors.
