By following the Conference you will learn
The FUTURES Observatory | Sense Making by System Thinking experiments with and promotes innovative approaches to designing desirable futures. In increasingly volatile and uncertain contexts, leaders, innovators and organizations are called to design desirable futures with responsibility and foresight, rather than merely adapting to emerging futures once they have materialized.
The third edition 2025/26 focuses on «Organizing and Performing Creative Work in the Distant Future (2035)», exploring how Agentic Information Systems are reshaping the nature, rhythm and responsibility of creative work. The edition is structured around two domains: Organizing Creative Work, how organizations structure and orchestrate collective creativity, and Performing Creative Work, how individuals and teams inhabit and give meaning to the creative process.
The event presents the Distant Futures co-constructed by participating companies through Future Making methodologies, and opens a dialogue between researchers, practitioners and leaders navigating these transformations in their own organizations.
On the day of the event, the research booklet will be available for free download.
The complete proceedings, including the conference video on demand, will be available in premium mode from the days following the event.
You will know how to answer these key questions
- How are Agentic Information Systems reshaping the temporal and cognitive structure of creative work?
- Who holds responsibility for direction, meaning and creative outputs in an AI-augmented organization?
- How can organizations protect space for slow, critical and divergent thinking in increasingly accelerated contexts?
- How can leaders orchestrate complex creative ecosystems without reducing them to simplified, auditable processes?
- How does the relationship between individual and collective intelligence evolve when Agentic Systems become active participants in the creative process?
