The commitment to attracting and retaining qualified employees and the belief that well-being and work-life balance are crucial factors for maintaining efficiency, performance, and productivity guided the introduction of the four-day workweek at PanzerGlass. The trial began in 2022 after a thorough planning phase, which included discussions with a steering committee representing various personas within the company. Employees receive the first and third Fridays of each month off while maintaining their full salaries and achieving the same, or higher, levels of productivity. The trial was launched simultaneously across the 30 countries where the company operates. To support this initiative, PanzerGlass underwent a significant cultural shift, reinforced by technological investments.
