Objectives of the Observatory

Established in 2025 the Silver and Longevity Economy Observatory aims for the following goals:

conduct analyses and research to help decision-makers and different sector players to manage innovation (technological, organizational, etc.) and cope with the significant transformation trends affecting our country, such as the gradual increase in life expectancy and average population age;
create culture, communicate and disseminate knowledge on research topics among institutions, third sector entities, companies, etc.;
create opportunities for the various stakeholders to meet and exchange views in a pre-competitive context, promoting better collaboration among the different players.

Silver and Longevity Economy, Observatory Research

The Silver and Longevity Economy Observatory aims for the following Research goals:

analyze the habits, needs, and interests of the Senior segment of the population in Italy;
identify the main sectors targeting products and services to the Senior segment of the population, and new innovation-related opportunities;
map startups, innovative projects, and emerging business models;
analyze the relationship between Seniors and digital technologies, in terms of propensity toward digital solutions, digital skills, etc.
