Deployment of a trusted and secure Common European Tourism Data Space
Project Description
DEPLOYTOUR aims to launch the European Tourism Data Space by engaging key players from tourism and data sectors across Europe, with a particular focus on SMEs and research networks at all scales. The project sees tourism data as fundamental to the European data economy and will drive the digital transformation of tourism, supporting EU competitiveness. Outcomes will guide governance and policy to promote data-powered innovation and help make Europe a leading sustainable destination. Building on previous initiatives and experience from other Data Spaces, DEPLOYTOUR will design the Tourism Data Space architecture, test its value through five pilot use cases in varied destinations, and address challenges such as managing tourism flows and promoting sustainability.
Our Role
Within the DEPLOYTOUR project, we lead WP4 by overseeing the implementation of the data space through five pilot projects. Our responsibilities include the design and execution of comprehensive monitoring and evaluation programs, encompassing KPI identification, satisfaction surveys, qualitative feedback collection, and periodic reporting to ensure the effectiveness and progress of each pilot project.
