AI Startup & Business Model Intelligence Observatory

The AI Startup & Business Model Intelligence Observatory has two main objectives:

• Provide an AI startup and AI provider Intelligence service, helping companies identify the most prominent AI players by sector, application, and global technological impact.
• Help companies understand the long-term impacts of AI and how it is generating new business models. This line of research includes both the study of new business forms such as “AI agent companies” or “one-person companies,” and the innovations introduced by traditional companies

The Observatory will also examine the role of AI in supporting strategic decision-making processes—which are inherently complex and multifaceted—with the aim of enhancing their effectiveness and creativity.

Through this Observatory, we aim to establish a community for exchange and discussion to explore the impact of AI on an organization’s ability to foster strategic thinking, as well as the opportunities presented by new AI-enabled business models.

As part of the annual edition, the AI Startup & Business Model Intelligence Observatory conducts the following research activities:

• Identify and analyze AI startups and AI technology providers in Italy and internationally, categorizing them by sector, process, and application area.
• Analyze the future evolution of AI-driven business models, identifying the different types and characteristics.
• Examine the role of AI in strategic decision-making processes by studying available tools and their impact at every stage of the process
