Objectives of the Observatory
The Design Thinking for Business Observatory was established in 2017 as a result of the growing pervasiveness of this approach to innovation within various application contexts, from strategic consulting to large enterprises, including every business organization of the ecosystem in Italy and other countries. The Observatory represents the point of reference for the community of innovators who adopt cutting edge approaches such as Design Thinking to create value for their companies. The aim of this edition is exploring the potential of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Design Thinking.
Design Thinking for Business Observatory Research
As part of the annual edition of Research, the Observatory is to increase awareness regarding emerging Design Thinking transformations, aiming to:
- explore the potential of Generative AI in identifying and reformulating opportunities within Design Thinking projects,
- understand the new abilities and skills that are necessary in Design Thinking to master generative digital technologies;
- reflect on how Design Thinking is changing and evolving as a result of an increasingly complex context such as what companies face on a daily basis;
- develop experimental approaches to explore unknown angles of Design Thinking through the adoption of emerging digital technologies such as generative AI;
- inspire participants by sharing the innovative views of leading Design Thinkers at international level.
