Objectives of the Observatory
The Design Thinking for Business Observatory was established in 2017 as a result of the growing pervasiveness of this approach to innovation within various application contexts. The Observatory is the point of reference for the community of innovators employing pioneering approaches such as Design Thinking to create value in their companies. The focus of this edition is to explore the role of Design in driving Organizational and Social Transformations, analyzing how these transformations can be supported by digital technologies such as GenAI, Big Data, and Extended Reality.
Design Thinking for Business Observatory Research
As part of the annual edition of Research, the Observatory is to increase awareness regarding emerging Design Thinking transformations, aiming to:
- explore the role of Design Thinking as a key tool for the transformation of organizational systems;
- examine the growing role of design leadership in orchestrating and driving innovation in complex business contexts;
- analyze the evolution of Design Thinking in response to increasingly complex organizational contexts and the adoption in work processes of advanced technologies such as Generative AI;
- inspire participants by sharing the innovative views of leading Design Thinkers at international level.
