Established in 2025, the Innovative Robotics Observatory aims for the following goals:
- develop analyses and research that help to better understand the market and the various technologies and applications;
- spread knowledge and culture regarding the topic and the current and future impacts of robotic technologies on society;
- create opportunities for cross-industry exchanges and networking with supply and demand stakeholders aiming to gain a better understanding of these topics;
- become a a point of reference for interested companies and keep them up to date on future trends and development opportunities.
Innovative Robotics, Observatory Research
The Innovative Robotics Observatory aims for the following Research goals in 2025-2026:
- Build a glossary of main robotics market terms and a categorization of the types of robots on the market;
- identify the most promising application areas and estimate the Italian robotics market;
- identify and analyze successful projects as a way to highlight processes, choices, skills, and critical issues;
- analyze and study startups in robotics globally and how this technology is connected to major technology trends such as AI, 5G, IoT, etc;
- study the relationship and impact of robotics solutions on the labor market.
