The Report maps 151 European Agentic Automation startups, which raised $1.92 billion, with the top 10 capturing 83% of funding.
On the demand side, it analyzes 178 use cases from Europe’s top 100 companies: one third are agentic, but only one in four of these acts autonomously on business processes.

The methodology used in this Report
The research combines two complementary analyses. The startup survey identified, through Crunchbase and secondary sources, startups with a value proposition centered on AI Agents and Agentic Automation, founded on or after January 1, 2021 and funded by institutional investors on or after January 1, 2024. The European perimeter includes 151 startups in 28 countries, within an international survey of 918. Each startup was classified across six non-exclusive offering categories, industry and business function; funding data is updated as of March 2026. The use case survey was carried out through desk research on the top 100 companies in the Fortune Europe ranking (completed in September 2026), based on company communications, vendor case studies and specialized press. Only cases already in production or pilot were included, for a final corpus of 178 use cases across 95 companies, classified by level of autonomy.
