The methodology used in this Report
The research analyzed 426 international startups founded after January 1, 2020 and funded since January 1, 2023, focusing on Process Intelligence & Automation, including AI and traditional technologies like RPA. A CAWI survey targeting over 1,000 executives from large European companies was conducted between July and September 2024 to assess digital adoption. Semi-structured interviews were held from September 2024 to March 2025 with managers from 15 representative use cases across industries. Additionally, five thematic workshops and 15 follow-up interviews deepened insights into technology choices, governance, and benefits of Process Automation and AI.
