The methodology used in this Report
The research combines large-scale quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews to experts in different fields. It measures the value of Italy’s tourism and business travel markets.
Seven coordinated surveys covered companies, travel operators, accommodation providers, agencies, experience providers, and travelers. CAWI methodologies were used, supported by ISTAT data, financial reports, and secondary sources.
Interviews with technology providers offered deeper insight into AI adoption and maturity levels.
